ENTOG 2015

entog2015 ENTOG (European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) was founded in 1997. In collaboration with EBCOG it aims for more comparable and standardized training in obstetrics and gynecology with the highest possible quality throughout Europe. An important component is the ENTOG exchange. This is a yearly exchange program in which trainees from all 30 countries are able to visit one of the other countries to have a glance at their obstetric and gynecologic practice. In June 2015 the Netherlands will be the hosting country for the third time. We have a wonderful country and will not get you bored easily. We have a lot to offer: from our unique organization of obstetric care (from home deliveries to TTS laser treatment), our practice with advanced gynecology, to our widely implemented hands-on training (realistic obstetric emergence settings, laparoscopic simulators).

The exchange program

The exchange program will take place from June 8 until June 11, 2015, including a three-day visit to one of the participating Dutch hospitals concluded with the Scientific Program and ENTOG dinner on the final day. The deadline for registration to the exchange has already expired, and we are happy to host almost 50 trainees from all over Europe. Approximately 20 Dutch hospitals will be welcoming trainees, located in all regions of the Netherlands. From Monday to Wednesday the exchange program will consist of shadowing one of the Dutch trainees in the labor ward, OR, outpatient clinic and visiting a local midwife practice (and maybe even witness a home delivery). If you have registered as an exchange trainee, you will soon be contacted about the site of your exchange, program and contact information of the local ENTOG exchange committee.

VAGO symposium
